During the first day of 9^th 100 Second Film Festival, in national competition category, movies were shown in three showings, the Festival's News Center reported.

Films in international category were also shown and a professional workshop named "Meeting on Presentation, Development and Production" was hosted. Art director and manager of Australia's Cinewest film festival, Vahid Vahed, was present in the workshop.

The 2^nd day of 100 Second Film Festival is dedicated to children's films, memento of previous festivals, a review of Japanese cinema, non-competition category, national competition and secondary international.

A meeting of the jury and a workshop on "very short films, from idea to production" will be among other events of the second day.
