In response to the question that which subjects are appropriate for a 100 second movie, Saharkhiz said "I think making a short film is much more difficult than making a feature film. Narration of a 100 second film is also more demanding".

"If narration is reduced to 100 second, it is exactly like a minimalistic story or a very short poem", Saharkhiz added. In making a short movie we need special understanding of issues which are normally considered to be unlimited", Saharkhiz added.

The member of animation selection jury in the 32^nd Tehran Short Film Festival said "Animation has great potential for making 100 second movies because the director is engaged with the powerful tool of imagination and has no limits most of the time. If the time is limited, imagination would be influential. Perhaps that's why animation is an apt form to make 100 second films".

"Nowadays 100 second movies are distributed very fast in society, thanks to a transfer of social media from computers to cell phones", he added.

"We pass lots of 100 seconds in our lives messing around, while we can make use of the time and watch or make 100 second films. I think nowadays we have the best chance to watch short movies and the best medium is our cell phones which are generally used in the worst manner" Saharkhiz said.

"For those who can make 100 second films, this time template would be the best, since they will be able to let millions of people watch their movies very fast", he said.
